scientific revolution was based on the theory by Italian physicist Galileo Galilee if you want to know more go to this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galileo_Galilei his theory was called Heliocentrism where the sun is the center and we circle around it they had and old theory it was called Geocentric where the world was the center and everything else went around it. but Galileo changed that theory. now thanks to him we know more about the planets, space and everything else. it because of people like him who help us understand the universe.
because of him it started a chain reaction of theory's after he tested the law of gravity and showed that all objects fall at thew same speed now we know ok
